Breaking News: Prince Phillip Has Died Aged 99.

Buckingham Palace has announced that His Royal Highness Prince Philip has sadly passed away.

A statement from Buckingham Palace said: "It is with deep sorrow that Her Majesty The Queen has announced the death of her beloved husband, His Royal Highness The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. His Royal Highness passed away peacefully this morning at Windsor Castle."

The Duke was married to Queen Elizabeth II for over 70 years and became the longest-serving consort in British history.

Born on 10th June 1921 in Corfu, Greece, Prince Phillip married Queen Elizabeth II in 1947 and they had 3 children together.

No official details have been announced regarding the funeral, but are expected to be released soon.
