The Manchester born University drop-out co-founded The Social Chain, a social media marketing agency, which he took public at the aged of 27. He left the business in 2019 to pursue other opportunities.

Bartlett said "I've been watching Dragons' Den since I was 12 years old - it was my first window into the real world of business and investing. It's a tremendous honour to join the Den, hopefully representing a new generation of entrepreneurs, inspiring young and specifically under-represented entrepreneurs to follow in my footsteps."

Filming is expected to take place this summer for series 19 of the hit show, in which Bartlett replaces Tej Lalvani, who announced his departure earlier this year.
