Green Circle Estates raise funds for Macmillan

Members of Green Circle Estates golf and management teams are raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support by taking part in their Longest Day Golf Challenge.

The Longest Day Challenge will see entrants completing four rounds of golf in one day. The team will compete at all four of the Green Circle Estates golf courses; Allerton Manor, Sherdley Park, Kirkby Valley and Heaton Park.

The team started the challenge from Heaton Park at 4:30am on Tuesday 18th June, completing at 10pm at Allerton Manor Golf Club, having played 72 holes, walked 25 miles, hit around 400 shots and gained one or two blisters!

Green Circle Estates Group Operations Manager Craig Coley commented “It’s an unpleasant reality that cancer will touch someone we know or love, be it family or friends. We’re delighted to raise funds for such a fantastic charity knowing that every penny raised really is making a difference.”

Funds raised by Green Circle Estates golf team from the Longest Day Golf Challenge will be donated to Macmillan Cancer Support, helping them to continue delivering the invaluable support so many depend on. Donations can be made at https://longestdaygolf.macmillan.org.uk/Team/greencircleeurnopros or in person at any Green Circle Estates Golf Clubs.
