Is Your Vinted Order Stuck? Furious Users Demand Answers Amid InPost UK Delays!

Users of the second-hand shopping platform Vinted have hit social media in a wave of frustration over significant delays in receiving their packages, which are handled by partner courier InPost UK. Many customers report that their parcels are either not collected from InPost’s automated lockers or are stuck in transit with no updated tracking information. Some individuals have even received notifications indicating their items were delivered, despite not receiving them at all, while others have encountered technical glitches when attempting to retrieve their orders from lockers.

One affected user, Sonia Fallows from Manchester, shared her ordeal of waiting for a delivery of second-hand toy building blocks, stating that her order had been stuck in the warehouse for eight days without being scanned. Frustrated, she maintains that InPost was once a reliable service, but she is now considering avoiding sellers who use InPost due to this experience.

InPost UK admitted to the issues being caused by a software integration problem and expressed that they are actively working to resolve these delays. Customers have received mixed messages, with some being told the issues would be solved by a certain date, only to be left without clarity. One woman shared her displeasure on the platform X, mentioning a new delivery date of October 22, swearing to never use InPost again. Another user echoed this sentiment, lamenting the lack of information regarding their missing parcels.

InPost UK’s acquisition of Yodel in May previously indicated an ambition to become one of the largest logistics firms in the UK, aiming to manage over 300 million parcels annually. However, the current dilemma casts a shadow over these aspirations, as they seek to rectify the backlog caused by the ongoing IT issues. They have assured customers that their network is now operational and significant progress is being made to resolve the situation.
